This Thursday afternoon, the Chamber announced that it sent 23 deputies to preventive quarantine after it became known that the wife of a legislator tested positive for covid-19.

The previous ones were joined by four advisers and four officials for contacts with the man, totaling 31 people sent to quarantine and who serve in this division of Congress.

“According to what was collated, all are informed and, so far, are in good health,” they indicated from the Corporation through a statement, in which they did not specify names.

The deputy in question underwent a PCR test during this day and will communicate the result as soon as it is sent.

“According to the results of the examination, the Corporation will proceed according to the established protocol,” they stated.

“Regardless of that, the Chamber has taken all the necessary measures not to disturb the legislative process in progress, guaranteeing citizens that the processing of legislative projects in progress will not be affected by this fact, ”they assured.
