A Collipulli farmer died this morning after an alleged attack on his home in the rural area of ​​the commune in the La Araucanía region.

The event happened around 03:00 on this Thursday, at kilometer 14.

Personnel from the Homicide Squad arrived to work on the first investigations.

According to what was reported by Radio Bío Bío, witnesses heard a series of shots, after which they verified that in the interior house of one of the plots of the place, Pablo Burgos, 76, was dead.

Meanwhile, SAMU personnel from the Collipulli commune were alerted, who confirmed the man’s death.

In the building, multiple ballistic impacts of different calibers were found on the front panel and shotgun shells.

In addition, Carabineros personnel who arrived at the scene pointed out that there was general disorder inside the house.

The victim was in charge of the Rural Surveillance Board of the Surco and Semilla sector.

PDI staff investigated the incident as a homicide, after being notified to the Prosecutor’s Office.
