The Meteorological Directorate of Chile reported for this weekend a “High temperature event” for five regions from the country.
In detail, the above will include between the regions of Valparaíso and Ñuble.
“Maximum temperatures will be recorded in sectors of valleys and the foothills,” added Meteorology.
In Maule and Ñuble, even, the heat will also be felt on Monday.
In the Valparaíso region, thermometers will reach up to 33 degrees in communes like San Felipe and Los Andes.
In the capital in all the communes they will feel between 30º and 33º degrees.
In O’Higgins and El Maule the maximums will fluctuate between 30º and 31º degrees; and in Ñuble the thermometers will show 28º degrees in communes like Chillán and San Carlos.
Faced with this “high temperature event” the call for this weekend is to extreme precautionary measures and avoid direct and prolonged exposure to the sun, drink plenty of fluids, wear light clothing, and apply sunscreen to the skin.
