The young Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg took revenge on Donald Trump on Twitter saying that the US president should “relax” about what happens in the presidential election that takes place in that country and that he should “work on his problem anger management “.
Trump had asked on Thursday night (11/05/2020) to “stop counting” the votes, in one of his attempts to stop the presidential election. Given this, Thunberg, with exactly the same words that the US president used almost a year ago, ironically commented on his tweet.
“How ridiculous. Donald should work on his anger management problem and then go see a good old-fashioned movie with a friend. Relax, Donald, relax!” The 17-year-old wrote.
Trump had referred to Thunberg in those same words in December last year when the activist was named one of the personalities of the year, moments in which the teenager made passionate speeches and requests to governments to act and stop global warming.
It is not the first time that Thunberg has responded to Trump’s comment. At that time, Thunberg had updated the biography of his Twitter account with the following words: “A young woman working on controlling her anger problems. Currently relaxed and watching an old-fashioned movie with a friend.”
The young woman had already spoken publicly to support the election of the Democratic candidate for the presidency of the United States, Joe Biden.
“I never get involved in party politics. But the next elections in the United States are above and beyond everything. From a climate point of view it is far from enough and many of you of course supported other candidates. But, well. You know, damn it, just get organized and get everyone to vote for Biden, “the leader of the environmental movement Fridays for Future had written on Twitter.
