Jadue responded to criticism from the Government – Agencia UNO
This Wednesday the appointment of the new Minister of the Interior, Rodrigo Delgado, now former mayor of Estación Central, replacing the resigned Víctor Pérez.
And surprisingly, the Recoleta Mayor Daniel Jadue, he had only good words towards the new Chief of Staff, despite how far apart they are from the point of view of political parties, one PC and the other UDI.
In the Facebook Live program “A conversation without makeup”, Jadue specified that Delgado is “A very good person, I have known him for a long time, I have had to share with him, he knows a lot about municipal management, has been linked to the municipal world for more than 20 years, and it will always be good for people who understand municipal management and work directly with citizens to reach a position that is usually so far from the people, such as the Ministry of the Interior ”.
Jadue insisted that “I have a good impression of Rodrigo”, but warned that “they have done him a disservice because the name change is not the relevant thing, but the Government is the one that must change its strategy. The Government must stop violating human rights, it must stop criminalizing social protest and, furthermore, apply the law with equality before all citizens of this country. “
