Ercilla: Carabineros interrupt traffic on Route 5 Sur after registering shots and explosions
The events occurred in the Collico crossing sector and generated a large police operation.
During the night of this Wednesday, a roadblock on Route 5 Sur, product of acts of violence registered in the Collico crossing sector, Ercilla sector.
According to preliminary information provided by TVN Red Araucanía, shots were fired and a vehicle exploded at the intersection at Collipulli and Pailahueque.
Hours later it was confirmed that there were two vehicles that were burned, specifically two trucks that were at the scene.
The event led to a large police operation that meant the cut off of Route 5 South, between kilometer 596 in the south to north, Ercilla sector sector and to the north at kilometer 609 at the entrance to Victoria.
