“Sacred Feminine” was the name of the publication that surprised the followers of the actress Alejandra Herrera on Instagram, where he shared a photo in which he is covered only by leaves and flowers.
In dialogue with the newspaper Las Últimas Noticias, the interpreter explained the background of the image: “It is the sacred marriage between the feminine and the masculine, something like a ritual of union of the couple”, he counted.
The intention of Herrera and her husband, Matias Stevens, was to recreate a ceremony that sealed their love and that was outside the traditional rites.
“It is not something we invented, because it is in all the sacred stories. It’s like a conventional marriage because two people give each other, but (the event) is just between the two of them. It was very common in ancient peoples, ”he pointed out.
The new marriage took place near a plot of San Francisco de Los Andes, where they have been confined in this pandemic. From there, away from television for years, Herrera dedicates herself to comprehensive ontological coaching and holistic therapy.
“The river represents blood, that is, life. The air, the mind. The sun is the fire, while the earth is us ”, he commented on the landscape of the postcard.
“We made our wreaths of flowers and went into the estuary with as little clothing as possible and bare feet. After the ceremony we left the wreaths in the river as an offering ”, he added.
