The Second Chamber of the Disciplinary Tribunal only decided to apply a new economic sanction to Colo Colo for the controversial match suspended against Deportes Antofagasta. With this, the ANFP must reschedule the meeting whose result will be resolved on the court.
In this Wednesday’s session it was resolved to maintain the fine of 495 UF against Colo Colo imposed by the First Chamber and add a new financial penalty, for the same amount, for late delivery of PCR test results.
The request of Sports Antofagasta and the ANFP to end the meeting and deliver the points to the “pumas” was only considered by a minority of the members of the Second Chamber.
Stefano pirola, President of the Second Chamber, stated after the session that: “According to what will be stated in the final judgment, it is expressly stated that a minority of the Court was to apply instead of the previous sanction (of 495 UF), the declaration as winner of the meeting at Club Antofagasta, for the sports damage suffered as a result of the behavior of the accused. ”
Thus, the match corresponding to the twelfth date of the 2020 National Championship must be rescheduled by the ANFP in the coming days.
Failure
That, after hearing the allegations and presentations made by the parties in this hearing and after the private deliberation of the members of the Chamber, the following resolution has been reached, the detailed decision of which must be delivered later, namely:
1 ° That, the contested sentence of the First Chamber is confirmed with an express declaration that by majority vote, the Colo-Colo Club is sanctioned for two infractions, that is: A) That of transitory article 3, numeral 11, with a fine of 495 UF. and B) Violation of transitory article 3, numeral 14, with a fine of 495 UF.
2 ° That, according to what will be set forth in the final judgment, it is expressly stated that a minority of the Court was about to apply instead of the previous sanction, the declaration as winner of the match to the Antofagasta Club, due to the sports damage suffered as a result of the behavior of the accused.
