The Radical Party agreed to withdraw the motion of censure from the table of the Chamber of Deputies, led by Diego Paulsen (RN) and Francisco Undurraga (Evópoli), after a meeting of the opposition benches.

The head of the radical group, Alexis Sepúlveda, made the presentation immediately after the constitutional accusation against Víctor Pérez was approved. The action was criticized by some opposition legislators and the Christian Democrats issued a statement to specify that the presentation was not agreed.

On Tuesday night Sepúlveda reported that “the opposition groups have met today and some groups have asked us for a little more time to be able to advance in the censorship.”

“All have expressed their willingness to support censorship of the table. The legal and political arguments exist to be able to do so and They have asked us to take a few days to advance in better coordination, a situation to which we have accessed and we have withdrawn the censorship with the understanding that it will be presented in the coming weeks.”Added Sepulveda
