The UEFA Champions League is gearing up for one of the most anticipated matches for football fans. This Tuesday, Real Madrid receives Inter Milan in a duel of giants in Europe.

And it is that the last time that both teams saw each other in the Champions League It happened 22 years ago, with Iván Zamorano being a genius, figure and scorer.

Inter entered the tournament as the brand-new 1997/98 UEFA Cup champions, but in the first leg they lost in a close 2-0 duel at the Santiago Bernabéu. Although in the return the story would be totally different.

Minutes later, Bam Bam would leave the field and the goal scorer Roberto Baggio would pass him, who at 86 ‘and 90’ sentenced it 3-1 against Real Madrid.
A magical night for the Chilean in the Champions League and that this Tuesday could be repeated. Alexis Sánchez and Arturo Vidal will have the opportunity to emulate what Zamorano did in the past. Will they succeed?
