Dr. Enrique Paris, today in charge of the Minsal, commented – again – the controversy over the famous delivery of emails with information from the state portfolio, within the framework of the investigation carried out by the Prosecutor’s Office on the management of his predecessor, also specialist and master’s degree in epidemiology, Jaime Mañalich.
The current head of the Health portfolio again referred to the controversy after the recent ruling of the Supreme Court that rejected the order not to innovate requested by the ministry and that it sought to nullify the way in which the Seventh Guarantee Court Santiago established the delivery of the e-post.
During the pandemic report, this morning, Paris reiterated that it will collaborate with justice, despite what happened in the Supreme Court, and assured that it was clear that the judge and the Prosecutor “know very well that these emails are not in the Minsal “.
“They are in Entel,” said the minister, explaining that “the order is going to reach the Minsal, the order is going to be transmitted to Entel. And once they are in Entel, the Supreme Court has asked that two copies be generated.”
Paris also detailed that it is the second copy, B, which will be delivered to the Prosecutor’s Office.
“From that copy B, we have to extract what has to do with national security, and we will deliver the rest as ordered by the Supreme Court,” he said about the operation that involves more than 49 thousand emails.
“We have not refused to release the information,” said Enrique Paris. “We require by means of an official letter to clarify with greater precision the way in which we should proceed for the delivery of said emails,” he closed.
