Daniel Craig heads the tributes to Sean Connery after his death

The fans of 007 are in mourning and it is that this Saturday, October 31, it was revealed that Sean Connery, the actor who immortalized James Bond in several films, passed away at the age of 90.

Connery obviously captured one of the most recognized versions of the famous secret agent on the big screen, so although his career included several more roles, today the main words in his honor are for his career as that character.

In that sense, one of the most striking tributes to Connery that emerged during this day was the declaration of Daniel Craig, the actor who currently plays James Bond in film.

Through the official Twitter account of the 007 franchise, Craig highlighted the status of Connery as a movie icon and took advantage of wishing him a good rest on his terms.

“It was with great sadness that I learned of the death of one of the true greats of cinema. Sir Sean Connery will be remembered as Bond and much more ”, Craig pointed out. “It defined an era and a style. Although Craig’s tribute is one of the most striking, through social networks other actors and filmmakers have also wanted to express their appreciation for the actor who also played Indy’s father in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
