The former candidate for the presidency and general secretary of the Communist Party Proletarian Action, Eduardo Artés, in conjunction with the Revolutionary Left Movement, I, confirmed the submission of a list of nominations for the election of candidates to the Constituent Convention who will write a new Constitution.

Artés declared that they will seek to loosen the moorings of the Constituent Convention that will draft the new Constitution, seeking to make it similar to a Constituent Assembly and emphasized that this is what the country needs.


Along the same lines, the Secretary General of the MIR, Demetrio Hernández, He pointed out that the political sphere did not invite them to be part of the constitutional agreements, but that they will likewise say present in the constituent elections.

Eduardo Artés also commented that he is not closing to run again for the Presidency of the Republic and confirmed that the Communist Party Proletarian Action and the MIR will present a candidacy in the next presidential elections.
