Faced with the complaint, the National Prosecutor, Jorge Abbott, officiated the SII asking for the complete list of the people who incurred in the infractions. Once the report was reviewed, it was found that a total of 1,370 Carabineros officials, active or in retirement, obtained the benefit without meeting the requirements.
According to La Tercera, the police, the prosecution and the Judiciary began to carry out their own cadastre in these institutions, after the SII sent the requested information.
He Internal Revenue Service gave the police until November 30 to return the money. For its part, Carabineros will ask each person on the list if they acknowledge having received the bonus. Those who accept must sign a certificate and return the money received.

For its part, 46 would be the people who collected the bonus and work in the Public Ministry, within which there would be no prosecutors involved.
