The authorities presented this Wednesday the protocol to establish preventive measures and recommendations to be implemented in urban parks, squares and beaches to reduce the risk of contagion from covid-19.
The Undersecretary of Public Health, Paula Daza, clarified in Express PM doubts about what can and cannot be done in these spaces.

The undersecretary clarified that they will not be able to sanction because the health authority has personnel for these purposes, who are the inspectors.
Regarding preventive measures in the square, the authority stressed that it is proven the effectiveness of the mask, so it indicated that its use is still mandatory in any space. They can only be removed when they are doing physical activity, if they maintain a distance of 2 meters with another person and when they get into the water.
“We have learned to live in these months, in this different way, in this different health culture that forces us to stay like this as long as there is no effective vaccine,” he stressed.
Regarding the classic beach vendors, Daza stated that the recommendation is that people do not eat on the beach, since they must remove the mask and we suggest that without going to consume food that they do so in established places because the health authority does not have the powers to inspect street vendors.
Specifically, the call is to avoid any act or action that involves removing the mask.
“Any relaxation of the measures that we implement, especially in the people and the communes that the numbers are good, that could mean that they should go back,” he insisted.
In relation to curfew, Daza stated that every day they analyze the measures with the Advisory Committee and that, for now, the curfew will remain.
