Pamela Jiles – AgenciaUno

The deputy (PH) Pamela Jiles assured that this Tuesday “will be a great day” when the Constitution Commission of the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies vote on projects that seek a second withdrawal of 10% of AFP funds.

Through Twitter, the parliamentarian assured her “grandchildren”, as she calls her followers “today will be a great day, just as I promised.”

“I promised to do everything possible and necessary for a second retreat and I do. You have done your part very, very well. We are going strong and confident. Together we are super powerful.”said the journalist.

The day before, the deputy Matías Walker (DC), had also been in favor of the second withdrawal of 10%, ensuring that “it is not ideal that workers have to resort to their own pension funds to face this crisis,” however, he established that “there is no other alternative.”

What is voting this afternoon?

  • Consolidated project that modifies the Fundamental Charter to establish and regulate an exceptional mechanism for retirement of pension funds
  • Recast project that modifies the Fundamental Face to allow the exceptional withdrawal of funds accumulated in insurance companies, under the modality of annuities
