The leaders of Chile Vamos, the center-right coalition that ended with fissures once the results of the constitutional plebiscite were known, arrived at the Casa de Lo Matta, in the commune of Vitacura.
Remember that the sector was divided between the political representatives who supported the Approve option and the Reject option. In fact, the “celebration” organized by a group of parliamentarians yesterday, at the Marriott Hotel, did not achieve the estimated attendance. They were few. Some speak that the environment is “rarefied”, that it is difficult to achieve a quick consensus.
Precisely, the meeting of this day addresses this last point, which has been difficult to specify. And hopes, now, are in pursuit of reaching unity in the sector.
In fact, the senator from Evópoli, Felipe Kast, sent a message to his peers and said he hoped that Chile Vamos had heard the results of the vote and asked “to get out of the trenches.”
For his part, the president of the PRI, Rodrigo Caramori, said -before this meeting- to be optimistic about what could result and asserted that the efforts of the sector should focus on installing a list that competes in the constitutional convention.
That is to say, another of the issues that are considered in this appointment, are the potential names that may arise, although the first thing will be to find the longed-for meeting point, from which some sectors of Chile Vamos are moving away, mainly those who went for the option loser yesterday.
Along these lines, not everyone echoes this call for unity since the National Renewal deputy, Tomás Fuentes, indicated that it must come hand in hand with a process of greater reflection after the signal that citizens gave yesterday in the plebiscite .
At this time, at Casa de Lo Matta in Vitacura, the highest representatives of the political stores arrived, that is, from Renovación Nacional, the UDI, Evópoli and the PRI.
