At the international level, Chile is drawing attention to the historic process that took place on October 25, with firm results, towards a new Constitution.

There are several figures who have come out to comment on the results, but few, such as Nicolás Maduro, president of Venezuela, generate suspicion by doing so.

Indeed, the president of the South American country congratulated Chile through his Twitter account, assuring that from the voting centers the Pinochet era had ended.

“My congratulations, appreciation and admiration to the Chilean people who today turned to the streets and electoral centers to decide the future of their Constitution and put an end to Pinochetism. The great avenues are opened to build a better society. Long live Chile! Long live Allende! ”.

As expected, the greeting generated criticism among detractors of the so-called Venezuelan dictator.

One of these was the renowned Mexican youtuber, Chumel Torres, who was quick to share Maduro’s tweet, quoting him with a stoning: “The only thing I know is that anything that Maduro considers good is bad.”
