This Sunday, October 25, the plebiscite for a new Constitution for our country is held. However, during the afternoon and night of this Saturday this electoral event has already started in different countries of Asia and Oceania.

The Chancellery itself indicated that the tables are already prepared in the 65 nations where compatriots will be able to exercise their right to vote.

New Zealand opened the first table of the election process

New Zealand, opened their tables from eight in the morning, local time, counting your first vote at 4:22 p.m. in our country.

The event was accompanied from a distance by a video call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrés Allamand, and Patricio Santamaría, president of the Servel Board of Directors.

In this way, and due to the 16 hours difference that exists with Oceania, it will be the first continent where the vote will be taken and, at the same time, where the first results will be known after four in the morning Chilean time.
