Under a provisional internment regime, the fourteen-year-old minor was detained during the morning of this Saturday, October 24, charged with the murder of a 57-year-old woman named Maribel Quezada Nunez while he was the victim of a blow in the commune of Peñalolén, last Thursday night.
The prosecutor Samuel Constenla, since East Prosecutor’s Office, requested the measure arguing that the minor, who would have acted in the company of two other minors aged 12 and 13 who surrendered to the Investigation police and they will not be brought to justice, it would be a danger to the security of society.
The request was accepted by the judge Andrea Diaz, of the 13th Guarantee Court, who decreed an investigation period of 70 days.

As detailed by the persecutor in the hearing to formalize this day in the afternoon, the crime occurred on Quilín Avenue at 6800, a place where the woman was arriving in a truck and was approached by unknown persons, who threatened and attacked her with a knife.
After the crime, the victim and mother of four children was transferred by her spouse to the nearby Luis Tisné Hospital, care center where he died due to the severity of his injuries.
The prosecutor mentioned that a neighbor found the knife used in the crime in Los Espinos street of Macul, and reported that according to the statements of the other two minors implicated in the crime, they had agreed to go out and steal the vehicle and have money to buy clonazepam pills.
