Parejo draw in South America: Católica, Audax, Coquimbo, La Calera and Huachipato already have rivals | Football

This Friday the draw for the second phase of the South American CupAfter an agonizing day stopping the Catholic University, which in the last minute of the match between Gremio and América de Cali got its ticket to the second most important tournament on the continent.

In addition to the crusaders, representing Chilean football will be Audax Italiano, Coquimbo Unido, Unión La Calera and Huachipato.

Like the other teams that do not come from the Copa Libertadores, these squads have been waiting for months for the competition to resume, since the tournament was stopped in February, before the pandemic.

The first national cast to appear was Unión La Calera, which will face Sports Tolima from Colombia. The ‘cement makers’ will be local in the first leg match.

Catholic University, for its part, will collide with Sun of america from Paraguay. The first meeting will be in Guaraní lands and the key will be defined in San Carlos de Apoquindo.

Later, it was known that Audax Italiano must face the Bolivar from Bolivia. The crossing begins in Chile and ends in La Paz.
