The Investigative Police arrested a woman accused of her alleged participation in the hmurder of Alberto Treuquil Treuquil, Werkén from the We Newen community in Collipulli, who died after being shot on June 5.
According to what the Prosecutor’s Office indicated in June, the death occurred on a motorcycle racing field, as part of the search for the victim’s horse that had been stolen.
There, the werkén and other people were approached by a group that attacked them with firearms. Alberto Treuquil received a bullet impact in the neck, dying on the way to the commune hospital.
As confirmed to Radio Bío Bío, the 30-year-old woman’s arrest was carried out by the Valdivia Homicide Brigade in coordination with personnel from the same PDI brigade in Temuco. In turn, they had the collaboration of the Los Ríos Criminal Analysis Office.
The woman was arrested in the open street after having two arrest warrants from the Collipulli Guarantee Court, one for the crime of homicide and another for serious injuries.
The detainee will be at the disposal of the Justice to pass the control of the detention and formalization of charges.
For this same fact, on September 29, a 29-year-old man, identified as Carlos Muñoz Salamanca, for his also alleged participation in the Werkén homicide.
