Woman self-inflicted injuries and was not pregnant: overturning in case of stabbing by ex-partner in Macul

A complete turnaround occurred in the case of the 20-year-old woman who reported having been stabbed by her ex-partner, and as a result of that, having lost her unborn baby.

However, the Prosecutor’s Office ordered the attendance of the Homicide Brigade to the place, determining that the injuries suffered by the victim were minor, for which she was referred to her home in the commune of Macul.

In that place the woman, according to what was stated by the prosecutor Félix Rojas, a statement is taken and acknowledges that although she had an argument with the subject at night, the injuries were self-inflicted. This was corroborated by her own mother, who maintained that she saw her daughter when the man left and was fine.

On the other hand, the young woman claimed to be pregnant and that due to the injuries, she lost the baby. However, she also acknowledged that she was not pregnant.

Given this scenario, the woman’s ex-partner would not be formalized.
