Desbordes raises the tone for the sayings of Hugo Gutiérrez against the Navy: “There is a level of insults that cannot happen just like that, there is an obvious crime”

This morning, the Minister of Defense, Mario Overflows, again questioned the sayings of the deputy of the Communist Party, Hugo Gutiérrez, about the Chilean Navy, although this time he raised the tone since he incorporated the words “insults” and “crime” when analyzing the expressions of the parliamentarian.

It should be remembered that through a Facebook Live, Gutiérrez labeled the military institution as “Illicit terrorist association”, after the arrest of the corporal involved in the public disorder last Sunday (he was discharged).

“There is a quantity and level of insults that cannot happen like this no more”, assured Desbordes in conversation with Radio Cooperativa.

“There are different alternatives, one possibility is to make a complaint to the Public Ministry, which should have acted ex officio. There is an obvious crime. The deputy is already stubborn in this, I regret that a parliamentarian lends himself to this”, He added.

Desbordes ruled out that “this is the party of the deputy” and that this “is something that a sector of Congress or a political party is doing collectively.”

“The deputy will be formalized, investigated as accused of a lack of respect, a verbal attack on an officer and officials of the Navy (…) From there his fixation against the Navy was greatly accelerated”, He complemented, referring to an episode in which Gutiérrez confronted the maritime police in Iquique in the middle of a control.

It should be noted that the Navy itself analyzes the presentation of legal actions against the parliamentarian.

“As an institution we find ourselves in the legal obligation to analyze the legal actions that merit the serious injuries publicly disseminated by Deputy Gutiérrez”, Julio Leiva, commander in chief of the Navy, had said.
