The Metropolitan Cybercrime Investigation Brigade reported that it detained a computer engineer in Limache for hacking the page of the Digital Government Division – dependent on the General Secretariat of the Presidency – which allowed hackers to steal the database of the Unique Key.

ClaveÚnica is a tool that facilitates users to carry out more than 900 procedures with State agencies, and also allows access to the Docdigital system, the official communication platform of the State, where documents from different State agencies are uploaded including those of the Presidency.
The Executive put cold cloths stating that “there is no evidence that allows affirming that there has been access to information related to ClaveÚnica”, although in any case it began an updating process for security reasons.
