Court rejected preventive detention for accused of child sexual exploitation in Valparaíso

He Guarantee Court of Viña del Mar rejected the request for preventive detention made by the Public Ministry against two men who were arrested this morning by the Valparaíso Investigative Police (PDI) for their alleged participation in a network of child sexual exploitation that operated between Chile and Canada.

In coordination with the Viña del Mar Prosecutor’s Office, raids were carried out in Limache and in the Santa Inés sector, in the Garden City, to find the capture of these two people: a kitchen assistant and a bank executive.

Both men were formalized this afternoon for the crime of acquisition and storage of child pornographic material virtually in the Viñamarino court.
