The directory of the ANFP resolved this Wednesday to appeal the ruling of the First Chamber of the Disciplinary Court regarding the match suspended between Colo Colo and Antofagasta on September 26.
The disciplinary entity applied an economic fine to Colo Colo, corresponding to 490 UF, that is, just over 15 million pesos, for violation of Transitory Article N ° 3, numeral 11 of the Code of Procedure and Penalties and decided that the game should be played.
Given this, the ANFP board of directors cited an extraordinary session in which it was decided to appeal this ruling to seek that the meeting be terminated with a favorable result for Deportes Antofagasta.
Now, it will be up to the Second Chamber of the Disciplinary Tribunal ultimately resolve what will happen to the complaint.
The duel that should have been played on September 26 was suspended minutes before the start due to a case of coronavirus in the Colo Colo delegation. The Antofagasta squad reached the Monumental Stadium, but the players couldn’t even get off the bus.
