This Tuesday the Ministry of Education started the application process for gratuity, scholarships and credits for Higher Education 2021, which will be extended until 2:00 p.m. on November 17.
In this process, students who next year want to enter technical training centers, professional institutes or universities, and those who are already pursuing a degree and do not have student aid, will be able to complete, through cell phone, tablet or computer, the Unique Socioeconomic Accreditation Form (FUAS) at www.fuas.cl and thus apply for all state student benefits.
Students will be eligible for the following benefits:
Gratuity, New Millennium Scholarship, Bicentennial Scholarship, Juan Gómez Millas Scholarship, Juan Gómez Millas Extranjeros Scholarship, Technical Excellence Scholarship, Academic Excellence Scholarship, College Admission Transition Test Score Scholarship, Scholarship for Children of Education Professionals, Articulation Scholarship, Scholarship for Students with Disabilities, Continuity of Studies Scholarship for Closing Institutions, Food Scholarship for Higher Education (JUNAEB), Solidarity Fund for University Credit, and Credit with State Guarantee (FALLS OFF).
In addition, on the same site there are other forms that allow you to opt for the Scholarships for Teacher Vocation and Repair ScholarshipsTherefore, in total, young people can apply for 19 State student benefits.

New quotas for professionals who want to study Pedagogy
In addition to all the benefits, in the Budget Law 2021 the Ministry of Education has proposed to reactivate the Professor Vocation Scholarship for Graduates and Professionals.
Specifically, it is proposed to open 250 places for graduates or professionals who want to carry out a pedagogical training program in 2021 at accredited universities.
“As a country we have the challenge of avoiding the deficit of teachers that is projected for the next few years. For this reason, picking up a cross-sectional proposal from the Technical Board that we formed last year to address this problem, in addition to the existing modalities of the Vocation of Teacher Scholarship, ”said Undersecretary Vargas.
“We propose to open 250 places for this modality that supports late vocations, giving opportunities to professionals who want to become teachers,” added the authority.
