Government Announces That It Will Modify Curfew Time For Plebiscite | National

Due to the above, it was decided to advance the curfew of this Sunday at 04:00 hours, and it will conclude on Monday 26 at 01:00 hours.

He added that the reason for the time change is “that there is sufficient time, both for transfers in the morning and after the electoral act. If someone asks permission to hold demonstrations or meetings, you can do so as calmly as possible. The whole issue is to make it easier for citizens to exercise the right to vote and to be able to decide the country’s path in institutional matters ”.

“We have also agreed to have a direct link during that day so that the Government can transmit the resolutions of the Electoral Service, in order to be able to adequately transmit the resolutions of the electoral boards and be able to advance in a clear and safe way in the objective of a safe plebiscite”, argued.

He added that “the extension will facilitate the movement and mobility of people on such a special day as the plebiscite. Finally, Minister Pérez explained that around 10:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. will be the first results of the plebiscite vote.
