President Sebastián Piñera decided this afternoon to move from his home to La Moneda to lead a meeting to take stock of the day.
The meeting is also attended by the Ministers of the Interior, Víctor Pérez, of Defense, Mario Desbordes, of the Segegob, Jaime Bellolio, Undersecretary Juan Francisco Galli and the General Director of the Carabineros, Mario Rozas.
The determination of the President takes place within the framework of the various and serious incidents that have occurred during this day in the framework of the first year of the social outbreak of October 18.
During the morning Piñera participated electronically in a coordination and monitoring meeting, organized by the Ministry of the Interior, and in which all the mayors of the country participated.
There the head of state harangued the regional authorities and gave them guidelines on how to act during the day, requesting that any incident be promptly reported to the central government.
