The national tennis player Cristian Garin (20th in the ATP ranking) decided to end his employment relationship with Argentine coach Andrés Schneiter, to whom he said goodbye on social networks with an emotional statement.

Schneiter took Garin in August 2018, when the Chilean was in 159th place in the world. Since that time, the “Tank” had an explosive rise in the ranking and in its level of play, winning first three consecutive Challengers at the end of that year and then winning four ATP crowns between 2019 and 2020.
The decision is surprising, since in March of this year Schneiter decided to stop working with his compatriot Juan Ignacio Londero to dedicate himself exclusively to GarinAlthough the pandemic and the irregular return of the national to the circuit (eliminated in the second and third rounds at the US Open and Roland Garros) changed the conditions.
