The ANFP gave important information regarding the duel between Curicó Unido Y Catholic University, which was suspended yesterday due to a power outage that affected the La Granja stadium.

Through a statement, the governing body of Chilean football announced that the match will be played from minute 50 until the end of regulation time.

“The Board of the National Professional Football Association, in an extraordinary session, agreed that the game suspended, this Thursday, October 15, between Curicó Unido and Universidad Católica will be played for the period that was left until the regulation time was completed,” they said.

“This decision was made by virtue of the facts set forth in the Arbitration Report and the provisions of articles 26 of the Championship Rules, 103 and 104 of the ANFP Regulations,” they added.

Clarify that during the next few days the date and conditions for the resumption of the match will be set.

Remember that at the time of the power failure, the duel was in favor of the local team 2-0. Also, the judge Nicolas Gamboa he had charged a penalty in favor of the UC, which could not be reviewed by the VAR since there was no electricity.
