The Investigative Police (PDI) reported a turnaround in the investigation in the case of a 23 year old woman who was found bound in a irrigation canal of Pudahuel.
The case was exposed on Tuesday night in the sector of The novitiate, when a group of people found the young woman for whom there was a complaint for alleged misfortune, since the woman had been kidnapped.
The PDI’s Special Police Investigations Brigade (BIPE) took up the case and determined that the alleged kidnapping had been invented by the victim.
Commissioner Juan Pardo indicated that, after raising security camera records, it was determined that everything “was invented by the person in order to justify your absence at home“.
According to Pardo, the woman had met with another person in an apartment and that on Tuesday he left a building in the capital and then went to Central Station.
Then, the commissioner pointed out, he took a bus in the direction of Lampa and got off at El Noviciado, where he would have injured himself and tied himself, to later ask for help.
He added that the Public Ministry is already informed to decide the steps to follow in the investigation.
