Total chaos was what was experienced this Wednesday night at the SAPU Alejandro Del Río in the Puente Alto commune, where about 15 people entered and destroyed everything in their path.
The area where patients with coronavirus symptoms and those infected are treated was completely destroyed by these people, who entered the place chasing a man who allegedly had sexually abused two women, in the midst of the demonstrations that were taking place at that time in the same commune.
The doors, walls and windows of the SAPU were destroyed with the throwing of blunt objects and kicks.
However, this was not the only thing, as health officials received threats from protesters during the incident.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Enrique Paris condemned the incident and said the attack is “unacceptable.”
