A 38-year-old man was arrested this Sunday after attacking his former partner with a knife in the commune of Santiago.
The frustrated femicide took place in the middle of an argument in a house in Santa Rosa Avenue.
The woman is admitted to the former Central Post, while the man was arrested by Carabineros after being caught prowling that health facility.
“While taking the statement (from the victim), Police personnel noticed the perpetrator, who fled the scene, generating a persecution through different arteries of the city, achieving his arrest on San Diego street with Matta Avenue“, explained Captain Vladimir Úbeda, patrol officer of the Central Prefecture.
