Several Fire Brigade units work to control the fire in Viña del Mar: 11 people were evacuated
A structural fire was recorded this Monday afternoon in the Valparaíso region.
12 Firefighter units worked to control the emergency declared in Valparaíso avenue with Villanelo de Viña del Mar street.
Preliminarily, the incident was caused by the ignition of the kitchen hoods of the Ikaro restaurant.
Due to the emergency, 11 people had to be evacuated from the place, who were without injuries.
Drivers are advised to take alternative routes so as not to hinder the work of the volunteers.
The fire generated a column of smoke that is visible from different parts of the city.
