Businessman Gerardo Cerda, owner of the camp and of the 15 trucks and machinery of the company Forestal Cerda burned this Friday in Angol, assured that “everybody knows” who are the perpetrators of the arson attacks.
“Everyone knows: these gentlemen operate and enter through the Temucuicui and Bajo Malleco sectors. The groups that attack in this sector are from there,” said the businessman: “I got tired of covering up, omitting and denying what one knows … Everybody knows. Now ¿Why don’t the police act? Because that is a sector that nobody enters“.
“These gentlemen, once the damage they caused to our trucks was done, they started towards Los Sauces road and, seven kilometers from where they were burned, they surprise a subcontractor (…) He was with two trucks, they burned one and stole the other“, he emphasized.
“They continued towards Tralicura and that has two points: the Low Malleco and the community of Temucuicui“, assured Cerda.
“This sector of La Araucanía is in total abandonment“and is not assured” the status of right for companies that generate work“Lamented Cerda, adding that” the ministers do not know Angol, the ministers go to Temuco: It is more comfortable to travel, there is a good airport, the photo is taken and then they return“.
Also, the businessman referred to the help of the Government, which promised to pay for the burned trucks in the area. “The solution is to place order, the solution is to have the freedom to work in a calm way, peaceful and generate economic activity -he explained- we want the opportunity to work“.
