Armania and Azerbaijan have agreed to a ceasefire – which will come into force at noon this Saturday – to “negotiate” a peaceful solution in the Nagorno Karabakh region, announced the head of Russian diplomacy, Sergei Lavrov, at the end of marathon talks between the foreign ministers of the two countries, in Moscow.

Azerbaijan and Armenia also pledged to carry out “substantial negotiations to quickly achieve a peaceful solution” to the conflict under the aegis of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk group, the Russian Foreign Minister said when reading the statement.
