Do you remember the Peruvian defender who was expelled in the 2015 Copa América for a brutal iron on the back of Charles Aránguiz? Well, now he’s back to doing his thing. Carlos Zambrano elbowed flower in the face of Paraguayan attacker, Miguel Almirón, and to everyone’s surprise, he was only admonished.
It was the 18th minute of the first half of the meeting between Paraguay and Peru, when the fast winger of Newcastle commanded a counter towards the Peruvian area.
