According to information on the site Skai (https://www.skai.gr) the event occurred in the town of Kounoupidiana, where the dog’s owner hung him up and cut off his testicles with a pair of pliers.
A neighbor who heard the cries of the animal came to the scene and rescued him to take him to a veterinary emergency, where he underwent surgery with good results and came out of a life-threatening state.

The organizers of the protest pointed to skai.gr: “They need to understand that when something happens to animals we will confront them, we will be their voice and they will understand that we will not leave them alone.
