A fight that occurred after the theft of a vehicle ended with a person killed as a result of a gunshot, in the commune of Cerro Navia.
According to the first antecedents, it all started around 4:00 p.m. when two subjects assaulted and stole the car from a Venezuelan citizen, who made tours through the Uber application.
After that, the robbery victim took advantage of the fact that the car had a power cut-off and a GPS location, and together with friends, all of the same nationality according to preliminary information, they went to where the assailants were to recover the vehicle.
“At the time it would be established that it is a theft of a vehicle that occurred at this time of the afternoon today in the same commune of Cerro Navia, where the subject, victim of theft, ask other colleagues for help of the same Venezuelan nationality, who go to the place and manage to recover the vehicle “, confirmed the Deputy Commissioner Sergio Mendoza, of the Homicide Brigade of the PDI.
At the scene they beat and abandoned the thieves, but When they were towing the car back, they were approached by two other vehicles, from where shots were fired and one of them hit the head of one of the companions of the first victim.
“Towing the stolen vehicle is where the antisocials return and hit the victim who was cooperating with the first victim of the robbery with a firearm shot,” added the detective.
According to the antecedents, the deceased corresponds to whoever was driving the vehicle at that time, so control of it was lost and collided with a Transantiago bus.
The Homicide Brigade carries out proceedings in the place where the incident ended, in La Estrella avenue with Salvador Gutiérrez.
