Those who saw the electoral strip during this Sunday, could notice a particular surprise in the block of the Approve option, of the Approve Chile Digno command.

While images of the 2019 demonstrations were shown where a group of people got together to sing en masse “The dance of those who are left over”, the original theme of Los Prisioneros, its author, Jorge González Ríos, appeared.

The former leader of Los Prisioneros argued why a new Constitution is important to him. “For pensions, which are a shame in Chile, for health, for education, for almost everything. By definition of person, I believe. We are people, not consumers ”, he assured.

The author of “Tren al Sur” closed his speech by showing himself a supporter of the Constitutional Convention, and with the gesture of raising his hand to his face to cover one eye, which became iconic during the social outbreak of 2019.

González’s appearance occurs within the framework of Violeta Parra’s 103rd birthday, on the so-called Chilean Music Day.
