After the incident that caused a 16-year-old youth to be pushed by a police officer at the Pío Nono Bridge on Friday, Hundreds of people came this day to Plaza Baquedano to demonstrate.
After several months without being able to reach the monument, which has been constantly guarded by the police, added to the extensive confinement that took place in the commune of Santiago, as well as in Providencia, this Saturday the protesters again managed to take over the streets and the structure.
In hours this afternoon, hundreds of people are already retreating in the Plaza Baquedano, where there are already police personnel to disperse the assistants.
Meanwhile, the traffic is cut off by Providencia towards the west at the height of Seminario, and by Alameda in San Antonio.
