The forward of Union La Calera, Andrés Vilches, regretted his release from The Red for the matches against Uruguay and Colombia by qualifying, which was due by indication of the health authority.

“The decision was adopted because the player, by indication of the health authority, must maintain preventive quarantine until Wednesday, October 7, 2020,” they said from La Roja in a statement.

In conversation with ESPN, the player regretted his situation, stating that “that’s it”, we just have to wait to return with more enthusiasm.

“He had confidence in me, in recent games I have scored goals, the idea is to have variants in attack, that’s why he had confidence in me. Within the microcycle I walked well, I showed things that caught his attention and that made me happy. Unfortunately I couldn’t go and that’s it, I have nothing to do, just wait for the days to go by and come back with more enthusiasm, “he said.

Later, on social networks, the forward shared a publication by an ESPN journalist, who found the player’s release strange.

Before his statements, Vilches replied: “That answer should be given by the Ministry of Health.”
