Coquimbo Kingdom ratified his rise and added his second consecutive triumph in the National Championship, after thrashing by 1-4 to O’Higgins de Rancagua this friday in the El Teniente Stadium.
The pirate team was vastly superior and was 0-3 up before the end of the first half, with goals from Rubén Farfán (25 ‘), Diego Vallejos (31’) and Víctor González (43 ‘).
In the second half, the locals tried to come back and achieved the goal of honor with a discount of Gustavo Gotti (56 ‘).
Finally, Farfán signed his double as a figure of the match, to decree the win by 1-4 in the 82nd minute.
With the result, Coquimbo Unido was in the fourteenth position of the table, with 14 points. One place down are the rancagüinos, with 11 positives.
On the next date, after the break for the qualifying duels, Coquimbo Unido returns to “Francisco Sánchez Rumoroso” to receive Colo COlo, while O’Higgins will continue in Rancagua to face Cobresal.
