It’s been a while since Matías Assler and Juana Ringeling They decided to leave Santiago to settle indefinitely in Cachagua, where both have been linked to activities very different from television.

The actor talked about this with Angélica Castro, through Instagram Live, indicating that the idea started after his contract with Channel 13 ended.

“In a minute My contract with Channel 13 for the last television series I did ran out, Love to the Catalan, and there the hit did not start to be so good. We began to be more complicated to hit, then we said ‘now, we have nothing to do in Santiago, “he said.

“La Juanita was born and raised here in this area, in the Fifth Region. We said ‘Let’s see what happens there’. We came in November and we settled here. Then I didn’t want to go back and Juana had to go to the United States to finish filming a documentary and I stayed here from there, ”he added.

In this sense, Assler indicated that during this time he learned a new trade, which has helped him keep busy.

“That’s where all this magic began, so to speak, of finding myself again with all things and also overcoming my insecurities and my fears. From working every day to having to start having to do… At first I started making furniture, the first month of quarantine I learned to weld ”, he said.

Without going any further, the actor said that they have some projects with his partner in the aforementioned commune.

“La Juanita is building a house, I help her with some things and there is a teacher there, Claudio Pezoa, who is a very dry builder from here and a very good person. I said ‘Claudio, I’m dying to learn to weld’. He said ‘come, I’ll lend you my machine, I’ll show you and, if you want, you can take it home. I don’t use it every day, ”he said.

To this is added that it has also been successful in selling the furniture it has built in recent times.

“That’s where I started. I made a couple of pieces of furniture, I sold like three pieces of furniture, and they turned out good, to well-known people of course. I’ve always made a bit of tables or things like that during my free time. I like manualities. And then I started making knives, I started making knives, I made three knives. And so, little by little, I pinch a little from all sides and entertain myself in quarantine. Also looking for and learning things that are for everything in the end “, he concluded.

It should be noted that, in April, Assler was arrested during a police control in the Zapallar commune, as a result of the mobility restriction measures typical of the pandemic.
