Sunday’s day was completely negative for University of Chile, because apart from being surpassed by Unión Española 3-1, the Blues saw one of their great figures get injured: Pablo Aránguiz.

This Tuesday the blues’ medical team confirmed that the player fractured the fifth metatarsal of his left foot, for which he will undergo an operation and will have three months of recovery before returning to play again.

The flyer wrote a heartfelt message on his Instagram account: “Thank you all for the displays of support and good vibes. We will return stronger than ever. “

In addition to the message, the footballer uploaded an image where he is wearing an orthopedic boot, the same one with which he was seen yesterday walking towards the changing rooms after the end of the first half.

Aránguiz was one of the letters that Reinaldo Rueda had for his payroll that will be made official on October 1.

Furthermore, that same day, Universidad de Chile must notify Dallas FC if it makes the purchase clause in its favor effective.
