To get permission, People must request it, remotely, on the www.comisariavirtual.cl portal within 24 hours prior to the date of travel, entering the personal data of the owner and those accompanying them under 14 years of age; the departure date and the origin and destination addresses. In the case of people over 14 years of age, they must obtain a permit as holder.
In that line, People will be able to spend the night at the destination, including hotels and the like, without time limits.
A single permit will be required for the round trip if it lasts less than 24 hours, counted from the issuance of the same. If said trip extends beyond the indicated time, a return permit must be obtained.
In addition, you must have a valid health passport, which must be requested at www.c19.cl. Both the current health passport and the interregional transfer permit will be required by the supervisory authority during transfers.
In the case of crossing a commune that is in quarantine during the trip, people will not be able to get off the means of transport in which they make the transfer, with the exception of service stations and access to transfers.
In no case may a person who is in the active covid-19 registers maintained by the health authority be able to obtain this permit, nor those persons subject to mandatory isolation measures by virtue of Exempt Resolution No. 591 of 2020 and its subsequent modifications . Neither may people residing in a commune that are in Phase 1 (Quarantine) or Phase 2 (Transition) use this permission.
It is understood that if the communes in which you reside or of destination change to Step 3, 4 or 5, people may request these permits, always including their departure and arrival addresses.
Likewise, This permit does not allow people to enter and exit through sanitary cords nor for travel during curfew hours. A sanitary cordon can only be crossed for the following reasons, as long as people carry a safe conduct:
- Medical Treatments (12 hours): The applicant must also submit the medical certificate that proves the disease that requires chronic outpatient hospital treatment. (example: cancer treatments, dialysis)
- Completion of funeral procedures: 5 hours in the same region and 24 hours in another region.
- Move. Including members of the family who carry out the move as companions of the process. Duration: 24 hours when it is within the same region and 48 hours when it is to another region. It must always accompany a notarized sworn statement of removal.
