A case of covid-19 was confirmed inside a residence of the Sename network in Valdivia.
This was acknowledged to Radio Bío Bío by said entity, after sources have expressed their concern about the situation at the site.
Specifically, it was confirmed that it is a food handler worker at Hogar Principito de Los Ríos, which is administered by the Bishopric of Valdivia as a collaborating body of Sename.
As reported to La Radio, last Tuesday the woman underwent a PCR test, testing positive this Thursday. After that, 8 other people are in preventive quarantine, of which one would be tested tomorrow after presenting symptoms.
This home maintains about 17 children up to 4 years of age in its care, indicating from the Bishopric that they have reinforced preventive measures.
