Atlético de Madrid made official this Wednesday the agreement with FC Barcelona for the transfer of Uruguayan Luis Suárez, in a negotiation that was concluded by six million euros more variables.
Through a statement, the “colchonero” club reported that the transfer is conditional on the corresponding medical examination and the subsequent formalization of the 33-year-old scorer’s new contract.
Suárez leaves the Camp Nou after six seasons as the third top scorer in the club’s history with 198 points, and 13 titles in his record; a Champions League, a Club World Cup, a European Super Cup, four Spanish leagues, four King’s Cups and two Spanish Super Cups.
The player he will say goodbye to the fans this Thursday “culé” in a telematic press conference.
